The animation follows a small robot flying through space, who lands on a peaceful glowing star. There, he meets Mr. Planet, a cheerful neighbor who waves in welcome. But the moment of friendship quickly turns sour when the robot reveals his true intentions — flipping into “bad mode” and digging greedily into the star in search of treasure. Outraged, Mr. Planet takes matters into his own hands — literally — and flicks the robot back into space with a dramatic snap of his fingers.
As a fully in-house production, we handled everything from storyboarding, modeling, rigging, animation, to rendering in Blender. The goal was not only to tell a compact and expressive story but also to explore Blender’s toolset in a production setting. We experimented with expressive character animation, stylized rendering, and comedic timing — and loved every second of it.

This project wasn’t made for a client or a brief — it was made purely for exploration and joy. It represents a turning point in our 3D workflow and storytelling approach. “Mr. Planet” helped us develop our voice in animation while testing Blender as a core tool. It’s short, quirky, and full of personality — just like the kinds of stories we love to tell.
